VinFast officially launches the VF 7 smart electric car in the C segment. With its bold design, advanced technology, and superior performance, the VF 7 positions itself as the leading model in the era of electric mobility.

VinFast VF 7 is the sixth smart electric SUV model, completing VinFast’s range of pure electric SUVs, covering segments A to E.

Available in two versions, Base and Plus, the VinFast VF 7 is designed in the “Asymmetric Aerospace” language by Torino Design in Italy. The car embodies freedom, technology, trendiness, and personality.

The VF 7 features VinFast’s characteristic wing-shaped LED lights that highlight the front and rear of the vehicle. Its coupe-like sloping roof, large wheel arches, and 20-inch alloy wheels contribute to its strong and sporty look.

Measuring 4,545mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm, a width of 1,890mm, a height of 1,635.75mm, and a ground clearance of 190mm, the VF 7 offers a spacious and luxurious interior with premium leather seats.

The VF 7 is designed with the driver in mind, featuring interior highlights such as a large 12.9-inch touchscreen entertainment display, a heads-up display (HUD) system, a unique two-tone D-cut steering wheel, and exquisitely designed piano-like shift buttons.

For customization, the VF 7 offers six exterior color options and two interior color options. The Plus version also provides the option for a panoramic glass roof, offering a luxurious and superior experience compared to other cars in the C segment.

In terms of performance, the VF 7 Plus version is equipped with two electric motors, delivering a maximum total power of up to 260 kW (equivalent to 349 horsepower), a maximum torque of 500 Nm, and an all-wheel-drive system. It stands out as the most powerful machine in its segment. With a 75.3 kWh battery pack, the car can travel up to 431 km per full charge (according to WLTP standards).

On the other hand, the VF 7 Base version features a single electric motor with a maximum power of 130 kW (equivalent to 174 horsepower), a maximum torque of 250 Nm, and a 59.6 kWh battery pack. It offers a maximum range of 375 km per full charge (according to WLTP standards). The Plus version focuses on maximum speed and long-distance travel, while the Base version offers style and flexibility for urban driving.

When it comes to safety features, the VF 7 is equipped with 8 airbags and a full range of advanced active safety systems, including ABS, EBD, BA, ESC, TCS, HSA, ROM, and more. The Plus version also comes with an advanced ADAS driving assistance system that includes 11 basic features and 15 advanced features. ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic warning, blind-spot warning, door opening warning, emergency automatic front braking, and a 360-degree camera system are available at the time of delivery. Other features will be remotely updated by VinFast for free in 2024.

Both versions of the VF 7 come with the VF Connect smart service package, which offers advanced technologies and smart features such as a virtual assistant capable of interacting in Vietnamese, voice-controlled car operation and inquiries, stand-up comedy storytelling, automatic emergency calling, unauthorized intrusion monitoring and alert, real-time vehicle monitoring and display. These features are exclusive to VinFast electric cars and distinguish them from other gasoline models in the same segment.

The VinFast VF 7 has a base price of 850 million VND (excluding the battery) and 999 million VND (including the battery). The Plus version is priced at 999 million VND (excluding the battery) and 1.199 billion VND (including the battery).

VinFast offers a battery subscription package starting from 2.9 million VND/month for a maximum travel distance of 3,000 km/month, and 4.8 million VND/month for over 3,000 km. The battery subscription requires a deposit of 41 million VND, which will be refunded to customers when they terminate the battery subscription contract, return the battery to VinFast, or transfer the car and battery to someone else.

The car comes with a 10-year or 200,000 km warranty (whichever comes first), and the accompanying battery has a 10-year unlimited mileage warranty. VinFast also provides unique after-sales services specifically for its electric cars, including Mobile Service, Mobile Charging, 24/7 Roadside Assistance, Special Support for incidents caused by manufacturer’s defects, and a Commitment to repurchase used electric cars after 5 years. Furthermore, the public charging station system covers highways, urban areas, schools, hospitals, shopping centers, and more in all 63 provinces and cities, making it convenient and easy to use VinFast electric cars across the country.

VinFast will officially start accepting deposits for the VF 7 from 12 p.m. on December 2, 2023, at VinFast showrooms and dealerships nationwide or through the website https://reserve.vinfastauto.com. Customers who place a VF 7 deposit before 24 hours on December 30, 2023, with a non-refundable deposit of 50 million VND, will receive a 30 million VND discount (deducted from the car price) and a free one-year public charging service. These benefits will not apply if the customer transfers the deposit to another person for car purchase.

Delivery of the first commercial VF 7 cars is expected to take place before the Lunar New Year.
