The COP is the largest international climate change conference organized by the United Nations with significant and long-term impact on the future of humanity. This year’s conference – COP28 is considered the most decisive turning point in 8 years as world leaders will for the first time assess the goals set out in the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. With its special importance, COP28 is expected to attract 70,000 delegates including Heads of State, Heads of Government and world leaders from 197 countries and thousands of non-governmental organizations, businesses, youth groups and stakeholders.
The Vietnamese delegation is led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, including representatives from government agencies, organizations and leading Vietnamese enterprises. Among them, VinFast is the only Vietnamese enterprise honored to participate in the presentation at the Conference and have a booth showcasing products at COP28.
Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice Chairman of Vingroup and General Director of VinFast Global, will participate in the panel discussion on “Enhancing Resilient Supply Chain Recovery” with international politicians and business representatives. As the sole representative of Vietnamese enterprises, and a representative in the field of international green transportation, VinFast will introduce global leaders to green mobility solutions and sustainable development strategies, contributing to creating a green future for today and tomorrow.
In addition to participating in COP28, within the framework of the Conference, VinFast will also showcase the highest-end model of the company – VinFast VF 9 from November 30 to December 12, 2023.
VF 9 is a large-sized electric SUV with a power of up to 402 horsepower and a driving range of up to 330 miles (according to EPA standards), with Length x Width x Height of 5,118 x 2,254 x 1,696 (mm). In which, the wheelbase is up to 3,150 mm along with the simple and distinctive structure of electric vehicles, bringing a spacious interior, optimized for a 7 or 6-seat design (optional pilot seat). The car has a modern, sophisticated exterior and optimized aerodynamics combined with a premium interior, integrating advanced technologies to provide an exciting driving experience, while enhancing operation efficiency and safety standards for users.
VinFast VF 9 is equipped with luxury amenities such as a dual front seat system integrated massage, ventilation and heating (Plus version), a 15.6-inch center entertainment screen, a HUD display on the windshield, automatically anti-glare exterior rearview mirror (Plus version), 11 airbags…
The car is also equipped with an advanced steering assist system (ADAS) with some level 2 features, utility and intelligent entertainment applications will be continuously updated remotely for free via the FOTA protocol to upgrade features and bring more interesting experiences for customers.
