The VF 7 is the sixth model of VinFast’s smart electric SUVs, completing their range of pure electric SUVs from A to E.
VinFast VF 7 is available in two versions: Base and Plus. Both versions are designed in the “Asymmetric Aerospace” style by Torino Design (Italy), reflecting freedom, technology, sophistication, and individuality.
The car features VinFast’s signature wing-shaped LED strip lights on the front and rear. Its coupe-style front end, large wheel arches, and 20-inch alloy wheels contribute to its strong and sporty look.
The VF 7 has a length of 4,545mm (with a wheelbase of 2,840mm), a width of 1,890mm, a height of 1,635.75mm, and a ground clearance of 190mm. With these dimensions, the VF 7 offers a spacious interior with premium leather seats.
The VF 7 is designed with the driver in mind. The interior features a large 12.9-inch touchscreen entertainment system, a head-up display (HUD) for information display on the windshield, a unique two-tone D-cut steering wheel, and exquisitely designed piano-like gear shift buttons.
To offer personalization options, the VF 7 is available in 6 exterior color choices and 2 interior color options. The Plus version also offers two-tone interior colors, catering to individual personalities, styles, and preferences. Additionally, users can choose the panoramic glass roof (available in the Plus version) for a luxurious feel and an enhanced experience compared to other cars in the C segment.
In terms of performance, the Plus version of the VF 7 is equipped with two electric motors, providing a maximum total power of 260 kW (equivalent to 349 horsepower), a maximum torque of 500 Nm, and full-time four-wheel drive. This makes it the most powerful car in its segment. With a 75.3 kWh battery pack, the car can travel up to 431 km on a full charge (according to WLTP standards).
The Base version of the VF 7 is equipped with a single electric motor, offering a maximum power of 130 kW (equivalent to 174 horsepower), a maximum torque of 250 Nm, and a 59.6 kWh battery pack. It can travel up to 375 km on a full charge (according to WLTP standards). The Base version is designed for urban roads and offers a stylish and flexible driving experience.
In terms of safety features, the car is equipped with 8 airbags and a full range of advanced active safety systems, including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Emergency Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Roll Over Mitigation (ROM), and more. The Plus version is equipped with an advanced ADAS driving assistance system with 11 basic features and 15 advanced features. Additional features will be updated remotely by VinFast in 2024.
Both versions come with the VF Connect smart service package, offering advanced technologies and intelligent features. These include a voice-activated virtual assistant capable of interacting in multiple Vietnamese dialects, supporting car control and Q&A, storytelling, automatic emergency call function, illegal intrusion monitoring and alerting, real-time monitoring and display of vehicle information, and more. These features are unique to VinFast electric cars and set them apart from petrol models in the same segment.
The price of the VinFast VF 7 Base version starts at 850 million VND (excluding battery) and 999 million VND (including battery). The Plus version starts at 999 million VND (excluding battery) and 1.199 billion VND (including battery).
VinFast offers a battery rental package for VF 7 starting from 2.9 million VND/month for a maximum travel distance of 3,000 km/month. For distances exceeding 3,000 km, the rental price is 4.8 million VND/month. The battery rental deposit is 41 million VND, which will be refunded to customers upon termination of the battery rental contract or return of the battery to VinFast. Customers can also transfer the car and battery to others.
The car comes with a 10-year or 200,000 km official warranty (whichever comes first). The battery is warranted for 10 years with unlimited mileage. VinFast also provides a range of unique after-sales services for their electric cars, including Mobile Service, Mobile Charging, 24/7 Rescue Service, Special Support for incidents caused by manufacturer’s defects, Commitment to repurchase used electric cars after 5 years, and more. A network of public charging stations is available nationwide, ensuring convenience and ease of use for VinFast electric car owners.
Deposits for VF 7 cars will be accepted from December 2, 2023, at VinFast showrooms, distributors nationwide, or through the websitehttps://reserve.vinfastauto.com. Early bird customers who deposit for VF 7 before December 30, 2023, will receive a discount of 30 million VND (deducted from the car price) and a one-year free public charging. This offer is valid for customers who do not transfer the deposit to another buyer.
The first commercial VF 7 cars are expected to be delivered to customers before Tet holiday.
