The prototype of the all-new 2023 Honda CR-V was recently spotted in Malaysia. The car is still camouflaged, concealing any changes to its exterior and interior design. However, it is expected that the Malaysian version of the 2023 CR-V will have a similar appearance to the one available in Thailand.

In the Thai market, the 2023 Honda CR-V comes with two options for the drivetrain and is available in five different variants. The price ranges from 1,419,000 baht to 1,729,000 baht (equivalent to 980 million to 1.2 billion dong). For Thai customers, there is a choice between a turbocharged VTEC 1.5L engine (192 PS/240 Nm) or a gasoline-electric hybrid i-MMD 2.0L engine (with a combined power of 185 PS and torque of 335 Nm).

The Thai version of the Honda CR-V 2023 boasts several notable exterior features, including sporty 19-inch alloy wheels, full LED headlights, daytime running LED lights, LED front fog lights, automatic headlight on/off system, LED taillights, black piano grille with chrome accents, black-colored integrated turn signal mirrors, power-adjustable and power-folding mirrors, and auto-folding mirrors when locking the car.

Additionally, the car is equipped with a black shark fin antenna, black rear bumper, RS logo on the front and rear, rain-sensing wipers, panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, and more.

Moving on to the interior, the cabin of the car features leather/suede upholstery with red stitching. The passenger compartment is adorned with polished aluminum and piano black materials. The accelerator and brake pedals have a sporty design. The car is equipped with a 9-inch touch screen entertainment information system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto connection, Siri voice command system, wireless Bluetooth connection, and 4 USB ports (2 front/2 rear). The audio system is powered by BOSE and consists of 12 speakers. The car also features the Honda CONNECT connection system.

As for additional features, the car comes with a remote engine start system with a remote key, Honda Smart Key smart key card, automatic anti-glare rearview mirror, wireless phone charging, electronic parking brake system, 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, and HUD screen.

The seats in the car are 8-way power-adjustable with memory function for the driver’s seat. The passenger seat is 4-way power-adjustable. The rear seats can be folded in a 60:40 ratio, and the third-row seats can be folded in a 50:50 ratio.

Furthermore, the car is equipped with an auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless phone charging, electronic parking brake, 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and HUD display.
