Established in 1913, Aston Martin is the esteemed UK brand known for its luxurious sports cars. The brand has produced a range of remarkable and iconic vehicles over the years. One notable feature of Aston Martin cars is their association with the famous “007” agent.
Interestingly, many are unaware that the first supercar to arrive in Vietnam was actually an Aston Martin Vanquish, not the Lamborghini Gallardo owned by “Dollar” Cuong in 2007. The Aston Martin Vanquish secretly made its way to Vietnam almost 2 years prior, brought in by a businessman from Hanoi.
Currently, there are over 30 Aston Martin luxury sports cars in Vietnam, including models such as the Aston Martin DB9 Coupe, Aston Martin DB9 Volante, Aston Martin Vanquish (2nd generation), Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, Aston Martin DB11, Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster, Aston Martin Rapide S, and Aston Martin Rapide.
Aston Martin 2023 Price List

Aston Martin DB11
Shortly after discontinuing the Aston Martin DB9, the British luxury sports car manufacturer wasted no time introducing the Aston Martin DB11. The Aston Martin DB11 has gained noteworthy attention and has received 1,400 orders from affluent individuals worldwide since its launch. Production officially began on September 28th, 2016. To ensure quality, the CEO of Aston Martin, Andy Palmer, personally inspected the first 1,000 units.
The price of the Aston Martin DB11 V8 in Vietnam starts at 15.686 billion VND. There are currently 6 Aston Martin DB11 V8 models available in Vietnam, each with its own unique color. The estimated amount that well-off individuals in Ho Chi Minh City will likely invest to drive an Aston Martin DB11 V8 on the city streets could reach 17.3 billion VND.
Initially, the Aston Martin DB11 luxury sports car was equipped with a 5.3-liter V12 engine. However, a year later, Aston Martin decided to equip the DB11 with a 4.0-liter V8 engine with twin-turbo technology produced by Mercedes-AMG. This change appealed more to customers in Asia, particularly wealthy Vietnamese buyers, as the Mercedes-AMG engine used in the Aston Martin DB11 offers better tax incentives compared to the original 5.3-liter V12 engine.
The Aston Martin DB11 V8 model boasts a V8 twin-turbo engine with a displacement of 4.0 liters, produced by Mercedes-AMG. It generates a maximum power of 510 horsepower and 675 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering power to the rear wheels. This enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 301 km/h. The simplest way to differentiate between the Aston Martin DB11 V8 and the Aston Martin DB11 V12 is by the number of air vents on the car’s hood, with the V8 model having 2 vents and the V12 model having 4 vents.
Conclusion
In the luxury sports car segment, vehicles not only compete based on price and features, but also personal preference and passion. Aston Martin is no exception, as its buyers are often driven by their love for the brand and their passion for driving.
