In the morning auction session on December 29, Hanoi’s lucky license plate 30K-868.68 received a relatively high bid.
On December 29, the Vietnam Auction Joint Stock Company put 7,000 car license plates up for auction. The list included several beautiful license plates, and in the morning session, a few notable license plates were auctioned, such as 73A-333.33, 24A-268.88, 30K-866.88, 30K-988.88, 30K-839.99, 14A-886.86, and 88A-686.86.
The highlight of the morning session was the lucky license plate 30K-868.68, which sold for a staggering 3.705 billion VND. The second highest bid went to the “quintuplet” license plate 73A-333.33 from Quang Binh province, fetching a price of 2.44 billion VND.
Other beautiful license plates were also sold at high prices, including 30K-779.79 for 1.535 billion VND, 30K-866.88 for 1.365 billion VND, 88A-686.86 for 1.2 billion VND, and 30L-169.69 for 1.185 billion VND.
In the afternoon session on December 29, an additional 3,500 car license plates will be auctioned. Many license plates are anticipated to fetch high prices, such as 14A-868.68, 14A-866.88, 14A-886.68, 30K-886.88, and 51L-166.66 (Ho Chi Minh City).
Under the new license plate auction regulations, the auction time has been reduced from 60 minutes to 30 minutes. Participants can use their personal phone numbers to register for an account and need to provide both their identification and tax numbers.
In cases where only one person registers and meets the auction requirements by the registration deadline, the license plate will be awarded to that individual.
