The iconic Ferrari Enzo supercar narrowly avoided being engulfed in flames while parked next to a burning vintage Bentley from 1929. The incident took place during a recent auction event organized by RM Auctions in the United States.

The fire from the vintage Bentley caused panic among the attendees of the RM Auctions event. RM Auctions staff and a firefighter quickly arrived to extinguish the fire using a fire extinguisher.
Fortunately, despite not being moved from its location, the rare Ferrari Enzo remained undamaged. However, it was covered in dust from the fire extinguisher. The three Ferrari F40, F50, and 288 GTO supercars also suffered the same fate.

From the moment of its debut, the Ferrari Enzo made a lasting impression with its impressive performance. Powering the Enzo is a 6.0-liter V12 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
The engine produces a maximum power output of 651 horsepower at 7,800 rpm and a peak torque of 657 Nm at 5,500 rpm. With this power, the Ferrari Enzo can go from 0-96 km/h in just 3.14 seconds and achieve a top speed of 363 km/h.
The Enzo, named after Ferrari’s founder, incorporates various modern technologies in its 2002 model year. Notably, Formula One technology, a carbon fiber body, and C/SiC compound disc brakes.
Currently, used Ferrari Enzos are being sold at extremely high prices, reaching millions of US dollars. Hence, the lesson learned here is to never park priceless cars like the Ferrari Enzo next to vintage Bentleys.
