The YangWang U9 has impressive dimensions, measuring 4,966 mm in length, 2,029 mm in width, and 1,295 mm in height. Its wheelbase of 2,900 mm allows for the placement of a 100 kWh battery pack, produced by FinDreams, a subsidiary of BYD.

This supercar features four electric motors, each delivering 322 horsepower, resulting in a total power output of 1,287 horsepower. This immense power is necessary due to its weight of 2,475 kg, significantly heavier than conventional supercars and even 386 lbs (175 kg) more than the Rimac Nevera.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 2 seconds, and the U9 boasts a top speed of 300 km/h. The large battery pack allows for a range of up to 700 km (435 miles) on a single charge, based on testing cycles in China.

The U9’s standout feature is its unique suspension system, known as the ‘Disus-X system.’ It offers precise motion control in all directions through a combination of shock absorber control, hydraulic body control, and intelligent body control systems. This advanced suspension allows the car to maneuver on three wheels and even bounce.

Despite its advanced technology, the YangWang U9 remains relatively affordable for a supercar, with prices starting at approximately 1 million Chinese Yuan (equivalent to 140,000 USD).
