Recently, social media platforms have shared the first glimpses of the luxurious electric car model Rolls-Royce Spectre in Hanoi. The uploaded images depict the car undergoing maintenance ahead of its official launch in Vietnam next month.

It is likely that this is a temporary imported car model intended for display and introduction to potential customers. From the exterior design to the paint color, everything appears to be identical to the car previously showcased in other countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.

Rolls-Royce Spectre is a groundbreaking electric car that marks a significant milestone in the 120-year history of the iconic British luxury car brand. The official announcement of Spectre’s arrival in Vietnam has been made, with a price range starting from 17,990,500,000 VND.

The design of Rolls-Royce Spectre draws heavy inspiration from the distinctive aesthetics of the Wraith and Phantom models; however, it boasts a wider and lower profile, resulting in a more pronounced sporty feel.

The front facade of the car captivates with its waterfall-style grille adorned with the vertical slats that are a hallmark of the Rolls-Royce brand. At night, the grille exudes a gentle glow emanating from the 22 LED lights elegantly embedded in the heat sinks at the rear. The soft illumination permeates through the meticulously polished surfaces at the front, creating an exquisite three-dimensional effect after sundown.

Positioned atop the grille is the iconic “flying lady” emblem, an indispensable emblem for Rolls-Royce vehicles. In the case of Spectre, the legendary Spirit of Ecstasy “icon” has been elegantly adapted to convey a more dynamic and sporty appearance.

The car incorporates a dual-tier lighting system. The upper tier features ultra-thin LED position lights, while the lower tier consists of headlights deeply embedded within the recesses. Additionally, the Rolls-Royce Spectre boasts a generously proportioned center air intake accentuated by horizontal slats on the front bumper.

The vehicle comes equipped with 23-inch alloy wheels – the largest ever seen in any Rolls-Royce model throughout its illustrious century-old history. These wheels flaunt an aerodynamic design that contributes to Spectre’s commendable drag coefficient of merely 0.25 Cd, the lowest among all Rolls-Royce vehicles produced to date.

When viewed from the side, the sleek and dynamic lines at the front of Spectre effectively guide the viewer’s gaze along the solid body. The “waft line,” a design element directly borrowed from yacht aesthetics, gracefully flows beneath the body. Other notable features of the car include a gently sloping roof towards the rear, signature reverse-opening doors, and the “R” logo displayed on the front mudguard.

The rear of the car showcases striking vertical LED taillights, with alternating silver accents adorning the area in between.

Within the confines of the cabin, Spectre is adorned with a plethora of modern conveniences, including a three-spoke steering wheel fitted with integrated function buttons, a digital dashboard seamlessly integrated with the center touchscreen, and sumptuous leather seats. The luxurious vehicle also incorporates a digital display unit catering to the needs of passengers, ensuring that the beloved opulence synonymous with Rolls-Royce is upheld without compromising the overall electric car experience.

One notable highlight within the cabin is the starry sky LED lighting system that adorns the ceiling, extending its grace onto the dashboard and door trims.

Powering Rolls-Royce Spectre is an electric motor capable of generating a remarkable maximum power output of 430 kW (equivalent to approximately 576 horsepower) as well as a formidable maximum torque of 900 Nm. With such impressive figures, the car confidently achieves the 0-100 km/h acceleration in a mere 4.5 seconds. According to the CLTC testing cycle conducted in China, Spectre boasts a remarkable travel range of 585 km on a full charge. Meanwhile, according to the EPA testing cycle in the United States, Spectre delivers an estimated range of 515 km.

In addition, Rolls-Royce Spectre comes equipped with fast charging technology, enabling the battery to reach a charge level of 80% from 10% in a mere 34 minutes when utilizing a 195 kW DC charger. In critical situations, users can swiftly recharge the necessary energy for the car to travel a distance of 100 km within a mere 9 minutes.
