The Vespafriends.com forum is launching the 5th Vespa Meet event. This year’s event is expected to take place on April 28th and 29th in Da Nang city, following the success of the previous four events in Da Nang – Hue (2005), Da Lat (2006), Dong Nai (2008), and Hanoi (2010).
Over 500 members from 40 different Vespa and Lambretta clubs across the country, as well as enthusiasts from Laos, Thailand, Australia, and the United States, are expected to attend this year’s Vespa Meet event.
The event will feature a series of connected activities including social and charitable activities, motorcycle riding skill training and traffic safety promotion, parades, and exhibitions showcasing scooters produced in the 50s and 60s. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit famous landmarks and witness the inauguration of the Vespa Museum in Hoi An Ancient Town.
Registration for Vespa, Lambretta, and vintage scooter clubs is open from March 1st, 2015 to March 31st, 2015. The registration fee is 700,000 VND/person, and children under 5 years old can attend for free. Children from 5-12 years old have a registration fee of 300,000 VND. Individuals who wish to participate in the program without joining a group should wait for the announcement from the organizers on March 15th, 2015.
With the message “Gather and Passion,” the organizers aim to create a healthy and meaningful platform for vintage scooter enthusiasts. They hope to inspire passion within the community and leave a positive impression on participants and everyone around.
