Genesis Announces Mid-Life Facelift for G80 Sedan Model
Genesis, the luxury brand of Hyundai, has recently announced the mid-life facelift version for the G80 sedan model. The 2024 Genesis G80 continues to apply the “Athletic Elegance” design language, featuring a redesigned grille and split headlights that give the front of the car a distinctive look. The front bumper has also been reworked to enhance the car’s muscular and sporty appearance, complemented by prominent 20-inch wheels.
At the rear, the car showcases a refined bumper and a concealed exhaust system that adds to its sleekness and elegance.
In addition to the standard version, Genesis also introduces the G80 Sport facelift, which boasts a distinctive front bumper with powerful air intakes and a dual exhaust system with V-shaped accents at the rear.
Inside the 2024 Genesis G80, the most noticeable transformation takes place. The car is equipped with an impressive 27-inch OLED screen that combines the digital instrument cluster with the infotainment system. Furthermore, a new control cluster and crystal gearshift enhance the overall feel of the interior.
The transmission system of the Genesis G80 2024 has not been announced yet. However, it is expected to retain the same transmission options as its predecessor. The car will likely be available in both electric and gasoline engine options.
The Electric G80 will come with dual motors, producing a total output of 365 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. Its 87.2 kWh battery offers an impressive range of 450 km.
On the other hand, the gasoline version will offer two engine options: a 2.5L and a 3.5L, both capable of delivering a maximum power of 375 horsepower.
The Genesis G80 2024 is expected to be available for sale in the first half of next year. More details regarding its price and transmission specifications will be announced closer to the launch date.
In Vietnam, the G80 sedan model has already been officially distributed by Genesis. It is likely that the facelift version of this vehicle will also be introduced to the Vietnamese market in the future.
