Specifically, they purchased the Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition, which is a special edition to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the British car manufacturer. This limited edition pays homage to the Land Rover Defender Series I, which was first introduced at the Amsterdam Motor Show in 1948. It is worth noting that only 5 of these cars were officially sold in Vietnam.
“I heard that Vietnam only got 5 of these cars. Since there are 2 of us in the family, we decided to purchase a pair to match,” said N.K.P., a car enthusiast who bought the Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition. He even went as far as repainting the entire house to match the car’s Grasmere Green color. This demonstrates the brothers’ passion for cars and their willingness to invest in their hobby.
The Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition is available in two variants: 90 and 110. However, all 5 cars brought to Vietnam belong to the Land Rover Defender 110 75th Limited Edition, which has a higher level of personality and comes in a 4-door version instead of the usual 2-door.
The selling price for the Land Rover Defender 110 75th Limited Edition is 7.3 billion VND, making it the second most expensive Defender SUV in Vietnam, only surpassed by the 130 X P400 variant.
The Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition retains the same powertrain as the standard Defender models. It is equipped with a plug-in hybrid P400e engine that produces 400 horsepower at 5,500-6,500 rpm and 550 Nm of torque at 2,000-5,000 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an AWD drivetrain.
