On November 21, the Vietnam Auction Company held four auction sessions (8:30 – 9:30; 10:00 – 11:00; 13:30 – 14:30; 15:00 – 16:00) offering a total of 1,125 license plates.
During the auction on November 21, several license plates attracted significant attention, such as 99A-666.88, 51K-888.99, 30K-41.966, 51D-93.866, and more.
The results of the auction showed that the highest price of 1.59 billion VND was paid for the license plate 51K-888.99 in Ho Chi Minh City. The second highest bid, 435 million VND, was placed on the “lucky” plate 99A-666.88. Most of the remaining license plates were sold at lower prices, with only a few exceeding 100 million VND. Some license plates were not successfully auctioned.
In the afternoon auction on November 20, the highest bid of 645 million VND was made for the license plate 99A-666.99.
Similar to previous auctions, participants are required to pay a 40 million VND deposit and a 100,000 VND participation fee for each license plate. The auction duration for each plate is 60 minutes.
As of November 16, the Vietnam Auction Company has successfully auctioned 5,421 car license plates with a total value of over 754 billion VND. Many desirable license plates have found new owners and have been affixed to vehicles.
