The Hyundai Creta is currently one of the best-selling SUVs in the Indian market. The second generation of this compact SUV is expected to receive a mid-life update in 2023. Following that, sources have confirmed that the Creta Facelift will make its debut in early 2024 with several notable changes.
In the latest spy shots, the 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift was seen undergoing testing on hilly roads. Although the test mule is heavily camouflaged, we can still spot some new details. Firstly, the SUV will receive new LED taillights connected by a slim LED strip, similar to the Venue.
On the sides, the SUV will feature new two-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels as highlights. At the front, the Creta Facelift may receive several updates, including new LED headlights and daytime running lights, an improved front bumper, and a new front grille.
Inside the cabin, the car is expected to receive an updated layout on the dashboard, along with seats upholstered in new materials.
In terms of features, Hyundai’s upcoming SUV will have Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a fully digital instrument cluster, a new infotainment system, integrated dashcam, and more. These new features will help the Creta Facelift gain a competitive edge against its rivals.
The Creta Facelift is expected to receive a new 1.5L gasoline engine, similar to the one in the new Verna, replacing the previous 1.4L gasoline engine.
This new engine, coupled with a 7-speed DCT gearbox, delivers 160 horsepower and a maximum torque of 253 Nm, making the Hyundai Creta Facelift more powerful. Additionally, the familiar 1.5L naturally aspirated gasoline engine and the 1.5L CRDi diesel engine will continue to be offered in the updated version.
