With just a couple of weeks left in the year 2023, it’s time to wrap up the year. However, some dealerships still have 2022 cars in stock. To clear out the inventory, these dealerships are offering significant discounts on these cars. One such example is a Hyundai dealership in Bac Lieu province.
At this dealership, the Hyundai Creta special edition with a 2022 VIN is currently available at a discounted price of up to 117 million VND. The price for this B-segment SUV is now only 573 million VND, which is as affordable as the highest-spec Kia Sonet.
These cars are fully imported from Indonesia, as the switch to local assembly in Vietnam didn’t happen until April this year.
Though these discounted cars are affordable, there’s limited availability in terms of quantity and color. However, in terms of equipment, there’s no difference between the 2022 and 2023 Hyundai Creta models.
In December 2023, the Hyundai Creta still benefits from a 50% discount on the government’s registration fee for locally produced and assembled cars. Additionally, the brand is offering an extra 50% off the registration fee. In total, the car is eligible for a 100% discount on the registration fee, which is equivalent to a value of 64-74 million VND, depending on the version.
Hyundai Creta is currently available in Vietnam in three versions: Standard, Special, and Premium, with prices ranging from 640 to 740 million VND. In the B-segment SUV segment, this Korean car is considered reasonably priced, not the cheapest but not too expensive either.
Furthermore, the Hyundai Creta flaunts a youthful and stylish exterior design, reminiscent of its older sibling, the Tucson. Some notable features of this car include the Parametric Hidden Light-style front grille with large hidden positioning lights, a full LED lighting system, 17-inch dual-tone scratched alloy wheels, muscular wheel arches, a shark fin antenna, and high-mounted LED brake lights.
Hyundai Creta is often referred to as a “mini Tucson” due to its similar design style
Inside the car, the Hyundai Creta offers leather seats, a digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen center display, a Bose speaker system, an electronic parking brake with Autohold function for automatic holding of the vehicle when stopped. Additionally, it features the SmartSense active safety system, including functions like automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assist.
The Hyundai Creta is powered by a 1.5L SmartStream gasoline engine with a maximum power of 115 horsepower and a peak torque of 144 Nm. It is paired with an intelligent variable transmission (iVT) and a front-wheel-drive system.
In November 2023, the Hyundai Creta sold 1,218 units, showing a slight 1.3% decrease compared to the previous month. However, it still leads the B-segment SUV segment and ranks 6th overall in the market. Cumulatively, in the first 11 months of the year, the Hyundai Creta has achieved sales of 8,766 units.
