Introducing the all-new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe, which made its debut in August 2023 and is now available in Southeast Asia. The car was showcased at an event in the Philippines.

At the exhibition, the Hyundai Santa Fe retains its distinctive appearance, characterized by its robust and square design, reminiscent of the Land Rover Defender.

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe measures 4,830 x 1,900 x 1,720 mm (depending on the configuration) with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm. Compared to the previous version, the frame has been enlarged by 45 mm and raised by 20 mm, while the distance between the two axles has increased by over 50 mm. This results in an increased cargo space of the car, from 634 liters to 725 liters (when the third-row seats are folded).

The front of the car stands out with its unique “H” shaped headlights, accompanied by the Hyundai logo on the hood. Additionally, the car features running lights parallel to the hood edge.

On the side, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe showcases wider fender flares, a square design that exudes power and sportiness. The car is surrounded by flat surfaces and a gradually sloping roof, complemented by a sleek black roof rack. The window line no longer rises at the C-pillar but remains straight, extending to the rear of the car. Each version of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe will come with a different set of alloy wheels.

At the rear, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe features taillights designed with the “H” graphic. The light strip is lowered and positioned near the trunk area. The car also comes with hidden windshield wipers.

Inside, the showcased model at the event is a 7-seater version. The cabin of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe boasts a modern and luxurious design, with a minimalist yet sophisticated touch.

The car is equipped with a panoramic curved display, incorporating a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system. Some other notable features inside the driver’s compartment of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe in the Philippines market include: 2 wireless phone chargers, multi-zone automatic air conditioning with ceiling vents for the rear seats, dual sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, and a Relaxation Seat for the driver. The second-row seats are equipped with sunshades and a one-touch sliding mechanism for easy access to the third-row seats.

In the Philippines market, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe will be available with 2 engine options. The first is the Theta III gasoline engine, featuring a turbocharged 4-cylinder with a displacement of 2.5L. It delivers a maximum power of 281 horsepower and a peak torque of 422 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and the HTRAC all-wheel-drive system. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds and achieve a top speed of 210 km/h.

The second option is the Gamma III 1.6T GDI HEV hybrid powertrain, consisting of a turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a displacement of 1.6L, an electric motor, and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This hybrid powertrain delivers a total output of 230 horsepower and a peak torque of 350 Nm. With this engine, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 km/h.

The price of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe in the Philippines market has not been disclosed yet, as the car will not be officially available for sale until next year.

After its launch in the Philippines, the new generation Hyundai Santa Fe will be introduced in other Southeast Asian markets, including Vietnam.
