Yesterday, the all-new Hyundai Venue SUV was officially launched in Vietnam on December 16, 2023. This marks the completion of Hyundai’s SUV product lineup in the Vietnamese market. With the presence of the Venue, Hyundai now offers SUVs in every segment, ranging from A to E.

In Vietnam, the Hyundai Venue is available in two versions: the 1.0 T-GDi and the 1.0 T-GDi Special. The price for the 1.0 T-GDi is 539 million VND, while the 1.0 T-GDi Special is priced at 579 million VND. Although the Venue has a higher starting price compared to its competitor, the Kia Sonet (519 million VND), it is more affordable than the Toyota Raize (552 million VND).

The Hyundai Venue was first launched globally in 2019 and is currently available in select markets such as the US, South Korea, and India. The Vietnamese market now welcomes the mid-life facelift version of the Venue, similar to the Indian variant rather than the US variant.

Positioned as an A-segment SUV, the Hyundai Venue measures 3,995 x 1,770 x 1,645 mm (length x width x height) with a wheelbase of 2,500 mm. Its exterior design takes inspiration from its larger siblings, the Creta, Tucson, and Palisade, but in a more compact package.

The Hyundai Venue features a bold design, incorporating a large cascading grille with a Parametric Dynamic design, LED projector headlights surrounded by LED daytime running lights, and a silver-colored front bumper. The turn signal lights and fog lights are positioned above the headlights.

The interior of the Hyundai Venue boasts a 5-seater configuration with leather seats and fabric upholstery. The dashboard features an LED Digital multi-information display that visually presents various parameters and can adapt its interface according to the selected driving mode. An 8-inch touchscreen entertainment system with an integrated reverse camera takes center stage. The infotainment system supports Android Auto, Apple Carplay, Bluetooth, and comes with a navigation map developed by Hyundai Thanh Cong specifically for the Vietnamese market.

Powering the Hyundai Venue is a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, generating a maximum power of 120 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 172 Nm in the 1,500 – 4,000 rpm range. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and delivers power to the front wheels. The Venue offers three driving modes: Normal, Eco, and Sport.

Vietnamese customers can choose from a variety of colors for the Hyundai Venue, including White, Silver, Red, Blue, Black, and Metallic Gray. The car comes with a 5-year or 100,000 km warranty, whichever comes first.
