The Hyundai Venue made its debut at the Hyundai Experience Day 2023 event held at Hanoi’s My Dinh Stadium after being launched on the evening of December 16th. This event provided consumers with the opportunity to see and experience the vehicle.
The front of the Hyundai Venue stands out with its large-sized cascading grill featuring a Parametric Dynamic design, inspired by its sibling, the Palisade. The projector LED headlights are arranged in a separate cluster, and the daytime running lights (DRL) surround the headlight cluster, creating a distinctive look.
The rear lights have a trendy design with a horizontal LED strip running across the vehicle’s tail. The details of the rear lights feature a pixel-like design, similar to contemporary Hyundai electric vehicle designs.
The Hyundai Venue is a compact-sized vehicle, measuring 3,995 x 1,770 x 1,645 (mm) in length, width, and height respectively. It has a ground clearance of 195mm and a wheelbase of 2,500 mm. Both versions of the Venue come with 16-inch alloy wheels fitted with 215/60R16 tires. The Venue also features a roof rack, perfect for carrying additional items.
The Venue boasts a high-strength frame with an additional 65% of Advanced High-Strength Steel (AHSS) components, enhancing its ability to absorb impact forces in the event of a collision. The Venue’s chassis system improves handling capabilities and reduces noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) through the use of additional sound-absorbing compartments in the doors, increased stiffness in panel clusters, and reinforced flooring.
The interior of the vehicle features upholstery, a urethane steering wheel, and an 8-inch touchscreen entertainment system located at the center, which includes a rear-view camera. The display supports full connectivity with Android Auto, Apple Carplay, Bluetooth, and also comes with a dedicated map developed by Hyundai Thanh Cong exclusively for the Vietnamese market. Additionally, the Venue is equipped with a USB Type-C charging port, providing convenient fast charging options for both front and rear seats.
The Hyundai Venue comes with a Start/Stop Engine button and a smart key integrated with remote start functionality. Its automatic air conditioning system ensures quick and efficient cooling, while the air vents in the rear seats enhance passenger comfort. The steering wheel is equipped with control buttons for adjusting parameters, changing music, and receiving calls.
The Hyundai Venue is powered by the I3 Kappa 1.0 Turbo GDI engine, delivering a maximum power of 120 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 172Nm at 1,500 ~ 4,000 rpm. The Venue is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, providing quick gear shifts with a sporty feel. It also offers a Drive Mode with 3 options: Normal, Eco, and Sport.
The Hyundai Venue comes with a comprehensive range of safety features, including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), 6 airbags, rear parking camera and sensors, and an immobilizer theft prevention system.
