Updated Kia Carnival price list (in VND)

Compared to its new competitor, the Volkswagen Viloran, the Kia Carnival has the advantage in terms of price and brand. Imported from China, the Volkswagen Viloran in Vietnam is available in two versions with prices ranging from 1,989 billion VND to 2,188 billion VND.

Kia Carnival price reduced, what does this mean for the newcomer Volkswagen Viloran?

The Kia Carnival is currently one of the rare large MPVs in Vietnam. Although it is not cheap, it sells well in the country. In November 2023, 550 Kia Carnival vehicles were sold in Vietnam, a 5.3% increase compared to the previous month, surpassing its sibling, the Carens. From January to November 2023, a total of 4,827 units of the Kia Carnival were sold, making it the third best-selling MPV, behind the Mitsubishi Xpander (16,931 units) and the Toyota Veloz Cross (7,648 units).

Similar to other Korean car models, the Kia Carnival has competitive advantages such as stylish design, abundant convenience and safety features. Additionally, the model offers spacious interiors with either 7 or 8 seats, making it suitable for large families.

In Vietnam, the Kia Carnival is equipped with notable features such as LED headlights, roof rails, power sliding doors/rear liftgate, 3-zone automatic climate control, power adjustable/front heated/cooled seats, wireless phone charging, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, and a dual-pane sunroof.

The interior of the Kia Carnival is spacious and convenient.

Under the hood of this car are two engine options. The first one is the Smartstream D2.2 diesel engine with a maximum power of 199 horsepower and a maximum torque of 440 Nm. The second one is the Smartstream G3.5 gasoline engine, which delivers a maximum power of 268 horsepower and a maximum torque of 331 Nm. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive system.

Not long ago, Kia unveiled an updated version of the Carnival in the middle of its life cycle in the Korean market. It wouldn’t be surprising if this improved model is introduced in Vietnam in the near future.
