Despite being just an upgrade, Kia has put a lot of effort into refreshing the Morning to the point where it might be mistaken for a completely new model. The Korean carmaker’s Opposites United design philosophy is clearly evident, starting with the significantly enhanced front end. The new grille, vertically stacked headlights connected by an LED strip above the tiger-nose grille, and prominent front bumper instantly showcase Kia’s attention to detail.

The base model is the Sport version, while the top-of-the-line model is the GT-Line. The GT-Line stands out with its 16-inch wheels, upgraded headlights and taillights, and a new glossy black diffuser.

Both versions are equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.2L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, which can be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. This engine delivers a maximum power of 83 horsepower and a peak torque of 122 Nm.

Inside the cabin, both the Sport and GT-Line versions receive notable upgrades. They come equipped with a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a new premium synthetic leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever, rear USB Type-C charging port, and an 8-inch infotainment display.

The 2024 Kia Morning boasts standout safety features such as Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist. Additionally, the car is available in 7 different exterior paint colors, including the new Adventurous Green option.

In the Australian market, the car starts at a price of $12,140.
