The Lamborghini Urus is celebrating its 4th anniversary this year, and the Italian automaker is gearing up to release a mid-life refresh – possibly named the Urus EVO, featuring several powertrain enhancements. While awaiting the update, there have been some unofficial upgrades to the Urus.
Talented pixel wizard Siim Parn has utilized his skills to create a Lamborghini Urus that is even more captivating than the future Urus EVO.
Designer Siim Parn has transformed a yellow 2019 Urus into a genuine Super Trofeo Omologato (STO) version. The super SUV boasts a blue exterior with orange accents on the sides, grille, and rear of the vehicle.
The front door proudly displays the prominent STO emblem. The wheel arches are aggressively crafted, and the front and rear bumpers are styled in an STO fashion. Overall, if produced, the Lamborghini Urus STO would possess a remarkably aggressive appearance, and it is likely that the V10 engine would also be enhanced.
The Lamborghini Urus is the best-selling model of the brand, achieving the production of the 20,000th unit in just 4 years. To meet the production demands, the Italian brand has doubled its production rate and expanded its workforce by hiring over 500 new employees. The Sant’Agata Bolognese factory has also doubled in size, going from 80,000 to 160,000 square meters.
Regarding the upcoming EVO version, the Lamborghini Urus Evo is expected to feature an enhanced powertrain for quicker acceleration. The Urus currently holds the title of the fastest SUV in the world, thanks to its twin-turbocharged V8 4.0L engine that generates 650 horsepower and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. This sporty SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just about 3.6 seconds.
