The 2025 UX 300h is the latest offering from Lexus, replacing the 250h model. It comes equipped with a familiar 2.0L 4-cylinder engine, combined with a new hybrid system that features a more powerful electric motor. This upgrade boosts the power output from 181 horsepower to 196 horsepower.
In addition to the enhanced hybrid system, the 2025 UX 300h also features a switch from a nickel-metal hydride battery pack to a more advanced lithium-ion battery. It also adopts a new shift-by-wire transmission technology, offering a faster and smoother shifting experience.
With these improvements, the 2025 UX 300h can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 8 seconds with front-wheel drive, providing a 0.4-second improvement compared to its predecessor, the 250h model.
Besides its increased performance, the 2025 UX 300h is also more fuel-efficient, with an estimated average fuel consumption of 5.47 liters/100 km, surpassing the predecessor.
In terms of aesthetics, the new UX 300h offers a new Copper Crest paint color option, adding a touch of elegance. Inside the cabin, buyers will find upscale features such as luxurious chrome accents.
The Premium and F Sport variants come with an upgraded 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, replacing the previous 8-inch display. The base variants still retain a 7-inch screen. Additionally, the F Sport Handling variant introduces a new power-adjustable trunk with a foot sensor for hands-free trunk opening.
Not to forget, the safety features of the 2025 UX 300h have also been upgraded. The Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 is now the version 3.0, incorporating advanced features such as All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Pre-collision System with Pedestrian Detection. These features are complemented by Traffic Sign Recognition, Active Steering Assist, and Lane Departure Alert with Lane Tracing Assist.
The pricing for the 2025 Lexus UX has yet to be announced.
