Hong Leong Yamaha Motor, the official distributor of Yamaha motorcycles in Malaysia, has introduced a limited edition version of the Y16ZR. This model is also known as the Exciter 155 in the Vietnamese market.
The new version is called Doxou ‘Tech Art’. The Y16ZR Doxou ‘Tech Art’ is produced in limited quantities, with only 5,000 units available. Each customer who purchases the bike will receive a certificate with a serial number.
The highlight of this limited edition version is the unique paint scheme featuring shades of purple, black, and blue. The wheels are painted in blue, a color option that has never been offered on any other Exciter 155 model currently available in Vietnam.
In addition to the exterior changes, the Y16ZR Doxou ‘Tech Art’ is equipped with the same features as the other models. The bike still features a dual-disc braking system, keyless entry, and LED headlights…
The engine on the bike is a 155 cc liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces a power output of 17.7 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.4 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The bike has a 6-speed transmission.
In Vietnam, the Yamaha Exciter 155 is available in two main versions: Standard and Premium, with differences in the locking system and front brake caliper type. The manual transmission bike is priced between 47.6-52.5 million Vietnamese Dong.
