Recently, an unexpected photo of the new generation Rolls-Royce Ghost luxury car with the “lucky” license plate number 51K-568.68 has surfaced on social media, showcasing its stunning beauty.
What makes this license plate number special is that it was randomly won by its owner, rather than being auctioned off like three other “lucky” license plates in Ho Chi Minh City. These auctioned plates fetched significant sums of money, such as the license plate 51K-768.68, which sold for 750 million VND, the license plate 51K-868.68, which received bids of 4.86 billion VND and 8.645 billion VND respectively, and the license plate 51K-968.68, which was auctioned off for 650 million VND.
In contrast, the Hanoi license plate number 30K-568.68 was purchased through an auction for a staggering 7.4 billion VND.
The new generation Rolls-Royce Ghost luxury car in Vietnam is currently priced at over 30 billion VND (excluding additional options). Some privately imported cars are even fetching bids of over 40 billion VND.
As a luxury car model, the second generation Rolls-Royce Ghost boasts a multitude of modern and sophisticated features. The car’s interior is adorned with premium wood and leather, and customers have the option to add the Illuminated Fascia feature. This feature transforms the dashboard into a “starlit sky” with over 850 illuminated “stars” surrounding the glowing Ghost logo. This remarkable feature is the result of over 10,000 hours of work by the engineers at the British car company, spanning a span of 2 years.
Powering this new generation Rolls-Royce Ghost is a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 petrol engine, delivering a maximum power of 563 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and a peak torque of 850 Nm at 1,600 rpm, just like its predecessor.
The power is seamlessly transmitted to the wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
