MG Vietnam Event: Discover the All-New MG Cyberster and Test Drive Our Range of MG Cars

With the theme “Hyperspace Inbound – Takeoff Through Time”, the program aims to provide customers with the opportunity to directly experience the latest MG products, with a special focus on the debut of the electric sports car, MG Cyberster. Attendees will also be treated to exceptional performances by renowned coach Rap Viet Big Daddy and DJ Naomi.

Since its official distribution in Vietnam in July 2023, SMV has implemented various customer support programs, improved its after-sales services, and introduced two new products, New MG5 & MG RX5, in September 2023. The Full Model Test Drive Event is set to be the largest and most spectacular event of the MG brand in 2023, showcasing MG’s prominence in the Vietnamese market.

During this event, customers will have the chance to experience 4 different models, including MG5, New MG5, MG ZS, and MG RX5, by test driving them directly on the Dai Nam racecourse. With the guidance of professional trainers, customers will get a comprehensive feel for the performance, efficiency, and safety technologies integrated into these cars. Most notably, attendees will be the first customers in Vietnam to experience the passenger seat of the highly anticipated electric sports car, MG Cyberster. The Cyberster electric supercar represents a momentous milestone in MG’s journey and commemorates the brand’s 100th anniversary since its establishment in 1924.

Throughout the event, customers can participate in various activities and receive attractive gifts, such as:

– Test driving all available MG models in the Vietnamese market & experiencing the MG Cyberster electric sports car.

– Experiencing MG cars on the Dai Nam racecourse under the guidance of professional trainers.

100th Anniversary of the MG Brand (1924-2024)

MG, which stands for Morris Garages, was established in Oxford, United Kingdom in 1924. It was one of the pioneering automobile brands in the UK and became an iconic symbol of the British automotive industry. In celebration of the upcoming 100th anniversary of the brand’s founding, SAIC Motor has officially unveiled the MG Cyberster. This electric sports car represents the convergence of the past, present, and future. This continuous journey of development aims to reach the significant milestone of 100 years, a truly historic and meaningful achievement.

The MG Cyberster is a two-seater electric convertible sports car that builds upon the platform of the legendary MGB model from 1964. It not only showcases a modern sports design, but also retains the distinctive DNA design elements that have been part of the MG brand since its early days of inception. With a maximum output of 536 horsepower and a torque of 725 Nm, the MG Cyberster can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The chassis design of the MG Cyberster was developed by engineers from an F1 championship team, incorporating thin and fast-cooling batteries with advanced technology. Moreover, the car is equipped with the intelligent Banma – Cyber OS driving system, which has been honored with the prestigious iF Design Award in the user experience category. The iF Design Award is recognized as one of the most esteemed international design accolades.
