Yamaha Motor Vietnam created a buzz in the market on December 2, 2023, with the launch of the Yamaha PG-1, a brand new motorcycle designed specifically for the genZ generation in Vietnam. The Yamaha PG-1 quickly became a trending topic among the online community, capturing the attention of motorcycle enthusiasts. Notably, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, also known as Cuong “Dollar,” who has a passion for supercars, recently added the Yamaha PG-1 to his collection, sparking further excitement on the internet.
Interestingly, instead of purchasing the Yamaha PG-1, Mr. Dam Thu Trang’s husband received it as a gift from a friend. Surprisingly, his neighbor noticed that he often rode a bicycle and decided to surprise him with a Yamaha PG-1 motorcycle. This act of kindness made many netizens wish for a thoughtful neighbor like Cuong “Dollar”‘s friend.
The reason behind the neighbor’s generous gesture becomes clearer when we consider their long-standing customer relationship. It is highly likely that the neighbor wanted to express their gratitude to Cuong “Dollar” for being a loyal customer, having bought and sold multiple supercars from them over the years.

Cuong “Dollar” received a Yamaha PG-1 motorcycle as a gift from his neighbor. This model is available in 3 versions, with prices starting from 30 million dong.
The Yamaha PG-1 is equipped with a 4-stroke, SOHC, 113.7cc engine featuring 2 valves and electronic fuel injection. The engine is air-cooled and has a displacement of 113.7cc. Power and torque are transmitted through a 4-speed gearbox with a centrifugal automatic clutch.
The PG-1 offers strong acceleration and pulling force, thanks to its shortened secondary transmission ratio (Finn: 40:14 ? PG-1: 40:13). The fuel tank has a capacity of 5.1 liters, and the manufacturer claims a fuel consumption rate of 1.69L/100km. Conveniently, the fuel cap is located under the front seat for quick refueling.
