The Accent continues to be the best-selling Hyundai model and also maintains its position as the number one sedan in the B-segment. Overall, the Hyundai Accent ranks second in the market, just behind the Mazda CX-5.

Hyundai Accent

The Hyundai Accent is a budget-friendly car model with prices ranging from 426.1 million to 542.1 million VND for 4 variants. It features an eye-catching design and suitable features within its price range. Some notable features of this Korean model include an 8-inch infotainment screen, 6 speakers, automatic air conditioning, rear seat air vents, smart trunk control, automatic headlights, and remote start functionality.

The Hyundai Accent is equipped with a 1.4L MPI gasoline engine that generates a maximum power of 100 horsepower and a peak torque of 132 Nm. It comes with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Toyota Vios: 1,556 units

Like the Hyundai Accent, the Toyota Vios also had a successful month with sales reaching 1,556 units, a 6.3% increase. This places the “national car” in the second position in the B-segment sedan market and third overall, behind the Mazda CX-5 and Hyundai Accent.

Toyota Vios

The Toyota Vios has been running a promotion program to reduce registration fees in recent months, which has contributed to its sales performance.

With prices ranging from 479 million to 592 million VND, the Toyota Vios offers Vietnamese customers a reliable Japanese car model at an affordable price. It is equipped with features such as LED headlights, daytime running lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, sportier seats, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, smartphone connectivity support, and a USB Type C port for rear passengers.

The safety equipment of the Toyota Vios includes 7 airbags and the Toyota Safety Sense active safety package, which features a pre-collision warning system (PCS) and lane departure warning system (LDA).

The Toyota Vios 2023 in Vietnam is equipped with a 1.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces a maximum power of 107 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 140 Nm. It is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Honda City: 884 units

The Honda City continued to perform well in November 2023 with sales reaching 884 units, an increase of 17.7% compared to the previous month. The Honda City holds the third position in the B-segment sedan market and is the best-selling Honda model in November.

Honda City

The Honda City has slightly lower sales compared to the Hyundai Accent and Toyota Vios due to its higher price range, which ranges from 559 million to 609 million VND for 3 variants. However, it offers active safety features that its competitors lack.

The Honda City comes standard with the Honda Sensing active safety technology package, which includes a collision mitigation braking system (CMBS), automatic high-beam headlights (AHB), adaptive cruise control (ACC), road departure mitigation system (RDM), lane-keeping assist system (LKAS), and low-speed follow (LSF). The L and RS variants of the car also feature upgraded disc brakes.

Under the hood, the Honda City is equipped with a 1.5L i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine, DOHC, which generates a maximum power of 119 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. It is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Mitsubishi Attrage: 425 units

In contrast to the three competitors mentioned above, the Mitsubishi Attrage experienced a slight decrease in sales, from 438 units to 425 units. Nevertheless, it maintains its fourth position in the B-segment sedan market.

Mitsubishi Attrage

The Mitsubishi Attrage is one of the most affordable car models in the segment, with prices ranging from 380 million to 490 million VND. Despite continuous official promotions in the past few months, the sales performance has not improved significantly.

The Mitsubishi Attrage features automatic on/off headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, electrically adjustable/folding side mirrors with integrated turn signals, fabric seats, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 4-speaker audio system, voice command functionality, automatic air conditioning, and an air purifier system.

Kia Soluto: 95 units

The Kia Soluto has never been a high-volume car model in the B-segment sedan. In November 2023, it sold only 95 units, an increase of 2 units.

Kia Soluto

The Kia Soluto is not highly regarded by Vietnamese consumers in terms of design and features. Therefore, despite its competitive price range from 386 million to 482 million VND, this Korean car model is not very popular in the market.

The Kia Soluto is equipped with halogen headlights, plastic and fabric interior materials, manual adjustment features, an AVN head unit, 6 speakers, 2 airbags, rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, hill-start assist, and electronic stability control.

The Kia Soluto is equipped with a 1.4L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, which generates a maximum power of 94 horsepower and a peak torque of 132 Nm. It is available with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Suzuki Ciaz: 4 units

The sales performance of the Suzuki Ciaz remained unchanged at 4 units in November 2023 compared to October. It continues to be the least popular car model in the B-segment sedan market and is among the top 10 least popular cars in the market.

Suzuki Ciaz

The Suzuki Ciaz does not have an appealing design and only offers one variant, which is priced at 534.9 million VND. This is one reason why it is not favored by Vietnamese consumers.

The Suzuki Ciaz is equipped with LED headlights, LED taillights, power-folding/adjustable mirrors with integrated turn signals, leather seats, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 4-speaker audio system, voice command functionality, automatic air conditioning, and an air purifier system.

Under the hood, the Suzuki Ciaz is powered by a 1.4L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, which is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
