The all-new BYD Song L SUV fastback model has received an overwhelming amount of orders, with about 9,000 units sold just three days after its launch.

Statistics show that 70% of customers who placed orders for the vehicle are men. Among them, the majority are young people aged 25-35.

The BYD Song L was officially introduced on December 15th with 5 different versions, priced between 189,800 and 249,800 NDT (approximately 620 – 815 million VND).

The car has a length, width, and height of 4,840 /1,950 /1,560 mm respectively, with a wheelbase length of 2,930 mm. These dimensions are equivalent to the VinFast VF 8 model in Vietnam.

The vehicle is developed on the 3.0 electronic platform, running entirely on electricity and integrated with advanced technologies from BYD, including Disus-C suspension system and CTB (cell-to-body) battery integration technology.

BYD Song L features a sporty look with a curved roofline and taillights. The front of the car stands out with a unique grille and a chrome strip resembling a “dragon beard” that connects the headlights to the grille, making the vehicle look eye-catching and fresh.

The car also comes with frameless doors, hidden door handles, and 20-inch wheels.

Inside, the BYD Song L offers a spacious cabin with many modern amenities, including a floating 15.6-inch display screen; a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster behind the steering wheel; and a 50-inch head-up display screen (combined with augmented reality technology).

The 2023 BYD Song L is also equipped with the DiLink smart network connection system based on Snapdragon processors, along with Qualcomm to deeply customize the car’s cockpit platform to support 5G.

The BYD Song L 2023 offers two drivetrain options: a single-motor version with a maximum power of 308 horsepower and a dual-motor version with a 4-wheel drive system equipped with front and rear electric motors, resulting in a total power output of 510 horsepower.

The BYD Song L 2023 has a pure electric operating range of 550 km, 602 km, and 662 km under the CLTC test conditions in China.

The car is equipped with the Yunnan C system with millisecond-adjustment shock speeds, and the DiPilot intelligent driving assist system that can handle most driving situations and more than 30 auxiliary functions such as high-speed assistance, intelligent driving, automatic parking, fatigue monitoring reminder, and more…
