The Toyota Land Cruiser 2024 has created a buzz in Europe with the first 1,000 units allocated for the German market selling out in just 30 minutes.
German consumers were given a sneak peek of the new generation Land Cruiser at the 20th Bush Taxi Meeting exhibition in September. Surprisingly, within just half an hour, all the vehicles from the first batch were fully booked. Interested buyers are now required to join a waiting list to get their hands on this SUV model.
In Germany, customers have three versions of the Land Cruiser 2024 to choose from: Executive, Tec, and First Edition. The Land Cruiser First Edition, however, will have a limited production of only 3,000 units. Deliveries for the first Land Cruiser 2024 units are scheduled for the third quarter of 2024.
The European version of the Land Cruiser 2024 is built on Toyota’s global GA-F platform, which boasts a 50% increase in rigidity compared to the previous model. Initially, European models will be equipped with a 2.8L turbodiesel engine that produces a maximum power of 201 horsepower and comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. European consumers can look forward to a mild-hybrid diesel powertrain in 2025.
All variants of the Land Cruiser 2024 in Germany are well-equipped, but the Tec Edition and First Edition models offer additional amenities such as 20-inch alloy wheels, digital rearview mirrors, a premium JBL sound system with 14 speakers, and a heads-up display…
