Official design images of the Honda Elevate’s testing in Japan have recently been released on Twitter, offering a first look at the upcoming SUV model.
Beneath the camouflage, the car features a sleek hood reminiscent of the previously shown design concept. The vehicle boasts a more streamlined and aggressive rear end, complete with an integrated spoiler on the roof and a sloping rear window. The taillight design bears resemblance to the new generation WR-V, currently being distributed in the Indonesian market.
According to AutocarIndia, the SUV’s reverse lights, brake lights, and hazard lights are likely to use Halogen bulbs. The wheel design takes inspiration from the Honda City model and comes in two color options: black and silver, depending on the version.
In terms of safety features, the SUV comes equipped with Honda’s new Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which includes a 360-degree camera that is prominently visible in the rearview mirror.

Powering the vehicle is a 1.5L gasoline engine, similar to the one found in the Honda City, producing 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. The SUV will be available with two engine options: a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission. A hybrid engine variant of the Honda Elevate is also expected to be launched in the future, although the exact release date has not been announced yet.
Several Honda dealers in India have already started accepting bookings for the Honda Elevate, with deliveries expected to commence in late August. However, the official pricing for the SUV model has not yet been disclosed.
