Motor1 has compiled a list of the most stunning new exterior paint colors from various car manufacturers in 2023.

Audi

The Audi TT Final Edition, the last iteration of this sports coupe before its discontinuation in 2024, showcases the Goodwood Green Pearl color. Inspired by the first-generation Audi TT’s exterior, this paint hue exudes elegance and sophistication.

Bentley

The Bentley Batur, priced at $2.1 million, offers an extensive range of personalization options. Buyers can choose from a plethora of head-turning exterior paint colors, including Wasabi Green, Sunbeam Orange, Daybright Green, and Fine Brodgar Silver.

BMW

BMW has introduced several new paint color options this year, particularly for the XM SUV model. Urban Green, inspired by the olive green shade found on military vehicles, is a standout option. Additionally, the BMW XM offers other striking exterior paint colors such as Anglesey Green metallic, Mica Blue metallic, and Sepia Purple metallic.

Ferrari

Ferrari debuted the KC23 racing car at the Goodwood Speed Festival, capturing attention not only for its speed but also for its unique Gold Mercury exterior paint color. This paint hue boasts a liquid metal effect, creating a mesmerizing mirror-like appearance.

Ford

Ford unveiled the Polymimetic Grey paint color for the Mustang GTD sports car. Inspired by the T-1000 antagonist from the Terminator movie, this hue adds a touch of futuristic allure to the vehicle.

Infiniti

Infiniti introduced a special edition of the Q50 featuring a unique paint color called Black Opal metallic. Depending on lighting conditions and viewing angles, the exterior of this model can exhibit shades of blue, green, or purple, according to the car manufacturer.

The Maserati Grecale and MC20 offer Night Interaction Blue as an optional paint color. Inspired by the exterior of the 1967 Ghibli coupe, this hue exudes a sense of elegance. Additionally, the two models also feature Verde Royale Green, inspired by the 1986 Maserati Quattroporte. The MC20 supercar boasts a unique Notte Black paint color, limited to only 50 units.

Flame metallic Orange is a special paint color for the Mercedes-AMG SL63 Big Sur edition. Inspired by the vibrant sunsets of California’s Big Sur, this color complements the model’s standout exterior. The interior features luxurious hand-sewn Nappa leather in mysterious red and black hues.

Porsche

Porsche’s Sonderwunsch customization department has developed a special exterior color called Leblon Violet metallic for the 2024 Panamera. This deep purple base with brown hazelnut accents creates a luxurious look.

In addition to the available paint colors, Porsche offers customers the option to personalize their cars’ exteriors through the Paint-To-Sample Plus service. Recently, a customer named Michael Essmann requested a custom paint color, resulting in the creation of the unique Essmanngreen Green hue.

Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce continually presents special projects for its car models. This year, the UK-based luxury car manufacturer introduced the Cullinan Blue Shadow, featuring a deep celestial blue exterior paint color called Stardust Blue. Additionally, Rolls-Royce unveiled the Cullinan Pearl Rose, showcasing a distinctive golden pink shade.

Notably, Rolls-Royce also revealed the Droptail convertible, boasting a custom La Rose Noire exterior color inspired by the elegance of the Black Baccara rose. In the shade, this special paint color appears black, but when exposed to sunlight, it transforms into a radiant red-gold hue. Creating this unique hue required the application of up to 150 layers of primer and paint.
