Recently, two brothers in Binh Duong made headlines when they splurged over 15 billion VND on two Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition cars.
These are the final two cars of the exclusive 5-unit collection available in Vietnam. The official Land Rover Vietnam website discloses that the Defender 75th Limited Edition is priced at 7.359 billion VND, excluding additional options.
It is worth noting that both brothers share a driving passion for both automobiles and travel. Consequently, they made the mutual decision to purchase the Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition. Additionally, due to their fondness for the Grasmere Green color, they not only procured the vehicles but also painted their house in the same vibrant shade, in preparation for the upcoming Lunar New Year celebrations.
One of the brothers is also the same individual who drove the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 across the Vietnam-Mongolia border alongside a Hanoi billionaire and a Porsche 911 Dakar 2023 edition.
The Defender 75th Limited Edition is based on the 110 vehicle variant, featuring an exclusive exterior design with the iconic Grasmere Green paint finish, 20-inch alloy wheels, and interior accents painted in coordinating colors. The laser-engraved 75th logo is beautifully positioned at the rear and on the dashboard.
The interior of the vehicle is equipped with numerous premium and contemporary amenities, including a 3D surround-view camera, customizable terrain response mode, Meridian sound system, LED matrix headlights, Pivi Pro entertainment system boasting an 11.4-inch touchscreen center display, a comprehensive head-up display, an 11-speaker Meridian premium sound system, and wireless charging functionality.
All Defender 75th Limited Edition vehicles are equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, and a 3-zone automatic air conditioning system.
The car seats also feature Ebony black resist material with 14-way power adjustment, heating and cooling capabilities for both driver and passengers, and a center console upholstered in Robustec material—which is currently recognized as the most durable fabric available on the Defender.
The Defender 75th Limited Edition is powered by a robust 3.0L turbocharged I6 petrol engine, capable of producing an estimated 400 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a reliable 4-wheel drive system.
One of the noteworthy features that allows this model to dominate all kinds of off-road terrains is its air suspension system, enabling a remarkable 430 mm ground clearance. Furthermore, in challenging road conditions, the suspension system can be adjusted to a maximum of 145 mm to accommodate various off-road driving modes.
