The LX 600 is equipped with CEN 1063 BR6 level of protection, allowing it to withstand the simultaneous explosion of two DM51 hand grenades.
Inkas Armored Vehicle Manufacturing specializes in manufacturing special armored vehicles for the military and various armed forces worldwide. They also offer bulletproof protection for luxury and civilian vehicles.
Recently, Inkas introduced an upgrade package for the flagship Lexus SUV, the LX600. The Inkas package provides the highest level of protection, CEN 1063 BR6, allowing the vehicle to withstand the simultaneous explosion of two DM51 hand grenades and other attacks involving 7.62mm rifles.
Inkas reinforces the Lexus LX 600 with ballistic glass, solid door frames, and a tightly protected passenger cabin. Additionally, they strengthen the suspension system, chassis, engine compartment, and fuel tank. The armored Lexus LX 600 is equipped with run-flat tires, enabling it to continue moving even when punctured.
Furthermore, Inkas offers additional features such as strobe lights, night vision cameras, and a fire suppression system for the engine compartment. Customers can also request the installation of an alarm system and a public address system for communication with people outside while being protected inside the vehicle.
Other enhancements include heavy-duty wheels, emergency escape doors, and heavy-duty brakes with specially developed 10-piston calipers, which will be available later this year.
The armored Lexus LX 600 is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers 409 horsepower and 649 Nm of torque. It is paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system. This setup allows the standard Lexus LX 600 to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 6.9 seconds, although the armored body may slightly affect the acceleration.
