The McLaren GTS will make its official debut next year as the brand’s new generation grand tourer. Combining the power of a supercar with a smooth and comfortable driving experience, it is perfect for long-distance journeys.

The McLaren GT was introduced in May 2019 as the British carmaker’s first grand tourer model, offering a blend of gentle and comfortable sports driving. After 4 years, McLaren is now launching the successor to this model, the McLaren GTS.

This supercar is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering a maximum power of 626 horsepower, an increase of 14 horsepower compared to the McLaren GT. Additionally, the new GTS is about 10 kg lighter, weighing just 1,519 kg.

According to the manufacturer, the McLaren GTS can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and from 0-200 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The top speed of the car is an impressive 327 km/h.

The McLaren GTS is built on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis to optimize weight while maintaining necessary rigidity. It also features an intelligent adaptive suspension system that can quickly adjust ground clearance based on operating conditions.

“The new McLaren GTS combines the sporty character of a McLaren supercar with the practicality of a grand tourer. When you desire true supercar driving, the GTS delivers just that. Moreover, it’s also the perfect companion for a relaxing experience on long journeys,” states Michael Leiters, CEO of McLaren.

The McLaren GTS is currently available for reservations, and the company has announced that the first deliveries will take place in 2024. While the price of the GTS has not been disclosed by the British supercar brand, it is expected to exceed the $208,000 price tag of the McLaren GT.
