VinFast President hits used car market with a price tag above 1.5 billion VND

The VinFast President is a rare find in the used car market, so when it’s put up for sale, it attracts a lot of attention from car enthusiasts in the country. Upon its initial release, the VinFast President caused quite a stir with its price reaching as high as 4.6 billion VND. With a limited production run of only 500 units, it naturally became the flagship product of the Vietnamese car brand.

Currently, the VinFast President is no longer in production. The cars available for sale now are all pre-owned and come at a much lower price compared to their original launch prices. This article features one such pre-owned VinFast President.

According to the sales information, this 2021 VinFast President has traveled approximately 25,000 km, which is not a significant mileage for a car. The price for this SUV is 1.58 billion VND. At this price point, it presents an attractive option for those seeking an SUV with a large displacement engine.

Currently, pre-owned VinFast Presidents on the market are priced between 1.6 – 1.8 billion VND. Therefore, the featured car in this article is offered at a lower price compared to the general market.

The VinFast President belongs to the large SUV segment, with dimensions of 5,146 x 1,987 x 1,760 (mm) for length, width, and height respectively, and a wheelbase of 3,133 mm. Its exterior is equipped with a fox eye-shaped grille, an air intake on the hood, and 4 rear exhaust pipes, all sitting on 20-inch multi-spoke wheels.

The interior of the VinFast President is wrapped in premium Nappa leather and features Veneer wood trim. The highlight in the cabin area is the 12.3-inch horizontal entertainment screen, connected to a 13-speaker audio system with an amplifier. Furthermore, this Vietnamese brand SUV is equipped with various modern features, such as blind spot warning lights attached to the A-pillar, a push-start button, a smart key, an electronic brake system, front and second-row seats with cooling, heating, and massage functions.

What makes the VinFast President truly appealing is its V8 engine with a displacement of 6.2L, naturally aspirated, delivering an impressive power output of up to 420 horsepower and a torque of 624 Nm. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4-wheel drive system. Thanks to this powerhouse of an engine, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 300 km/h.
