After Celestiq, Cadillac continues to unveil a new fully electric model called Vistiq. This represents a luxury three-row crossover, positioned between Lyriq and Escalade IQ in the brand’s lineup.
While not revealing much about the Vistiq yet, Cadillac describes it as a “modern families design”. According to John Roth, Cadillac’s Vice President, the Vistiq is an incredibly appealing electric vehicle that plays a crucial role in the brand’s vision for the future of electrification.
“Our brand now boasts electric vehicles in nearly every luxury segment, giving customers a diverse range of options, and Cadillac’s electric models will cover the majority of luxury SUV segments in key markets globally over the next two years,” says John Roth.
Similar to other models in the Cadillac lineup, the Vistiq will be built on the GM Ultium platform. The powertrain of this model is expected to have a configuration resembling the Lyriq, with two electric motors generating around 500 horsepower and a peak torque of 610 Nm, paired with all-wheel drive.
The exact range of the Vistiq is currently unknown. Referring to the Lyriq, this SUV model features a 102 kWh battery pack that offers a range of 494 km per charge with all-wheel drive and 505 km with rear-wheel drive. Considering the larger size of the Vistiq, it is likely that this model will be equipped with a higher-capacity battery pack.
In terms of design, the Vistiq bears resemblance to an enlarged Lyriq. The front of this all-electric crossover amazes with its “Black Crystal” grille and vertical headlights on both sides. At the rear, the vehicle features vertical taillights, much like the Lyriq and Escalade IQ.
While interior images of the car have not yet been released, it is anticipated that the Vistiq will offer a spacious cabin with multiple large screens, similar to Cadillac’s existing electric SUV models.
