The Wuling Hongguang MiniEV is now available at dealerships with a discount of up to 40 million VND, lowering the price to just 199 million VND.

As the cheapest car in the Vietnamese market, starting at 239 million VND, the Wuling Hongguang MiniEV has struggled to attract customers due to its unappealing design and lack of features tailored to Vietnamese preferences since its launch in June 2023.

To boost end-of-year sales, certain Wuling dealerships have implemented promotional programs for customers. For example, at a showroom in Hai Phong, a sales consultant mentioned that customers who purchase the Hongguang MiniEV would receive the car before Tet (Lunar New Year) and enjoy a discount of up to 40 million VND. This discount includes deductions for accessories and New Year gifts. The sales consultant also noted that the discount policies vary significantly among dealerships, with some offering a 10 million VND reduction and accessories as gifts, while others provide cash discounts of over 30 million VND.

After deducting the discount, the standard version of the Wuling Hongguang MiniEV is now priced at just 199 million VND. While this price is slightly higher than some high-end scooter models such as the Vespa GTS Super 300cc (180 million VND) or the Honda SH350i (151 million VND), it is significantly cheaper compared to the manual version of the Kia Morning (349 million VND).

The Wuling Hongguang Mini EV has dimensions of 2,917 x 1,493 x 1,621 mm (length x width x height), a wheelbase of 1,940 mm, and weighs 665 kg. The high-end version of the car is equipped with projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, Wuling logo with LED decorative strips on both sides, guiding light function, rear fog lights, and 12-inch wheels with 145/70R12 tires.

Due to its small size, the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV only offers a cramped cabin with 4 seats and lacks a luggage compartment. Interior features include fabric seats, 4-way adjustable front seats, a 7-inch LCD TFT instrument cluster, 2 speakers, air conditioning, and power windows.

In terms of performance, the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV is equipped with a rear-mounted electric motor, providing 26.8 horsepower and 85 Nm of torque. It is available with two battery options: 9.6 kWh or 13.4 kWh, offering a range of 120 km and 170 km respectively when fully charged.
