Hyundai is preparing to unveil the updated version of the Creta in the Indian market on January 16th, 2024. Prior to that, the Hyundai Creta 2024 has started appearing at dealerships in this South Asian country. Thanks to these images, we can get a sneak peek of the car’s actual design.

As the previous teasers hinted at, the Hyundai Creta 2024 has undergone significant improvements in terms of exterior design. The freshness of this compact SUV is clearly visible in both the front and rear of the car.

At the front, the Hyundai Creta 2024 features an enlarged grille and a large rectangular center air dam. It also incorporates a new two-tier headlight system. The “L” shaped LED daytime running light strip is positioned horizontally above it. The vertically arranged headlight cluster now comes with two new LED bulbs below it.

The side profile of the Hyundai Creta 2024 remains largely unchanged compared to the previous version. The South Korean automaker has only added new dual-tone 5-spoke alloy wheels and new scratch-resistant designs to enhance the appearance of this compact SUV.

In addition to the luxurious interior, the Hyundai Creta 2024 in the Indian market also receives significant upgrades in terms of safety. It comes with 6 airbags and 19 active safety features, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that provide Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities. The high-end variant will be equipped with a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, tire pressure monitoring, four-wheel disc brakes, and electronic stability control.

Under the hood of the Hyundai Creta 2024 in the Indian market, there will be three engine options. The most notable one is the new 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, which is shared with the Hyundai Accent. It delivers a maximum power of 160 horsepower and can be paired with either a manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The other two engine options for the Hyundai Creta 2024 will be carried over from the previous version. The first one is a naturally aspirated 1.5L gasoline engine with a maximum power output of 115 horsepower. The second one is a diesel engine with the same displacement and maximum power as the gasoline engine. Both of these engines will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 6-speed automatic transmission, or a IVT continuously variable automatic transmission.

The Hyundai Creta 2024 will be available in a total of 7 variants, but the prices have not been revealed yet. Unfortunately, the changes made to this model will not be applied to the Hyundai Creta sold in Vietnam.
