Hyundai has recently released clearer images of the B-segment SUV Creta before its debut on January 16th.

The car has been redesigned with a more square-shaped grille, similar to its “big brother” Palisade. The LED position lights are designed with pixel-like patterns, connected by a horizontal LED strip on the hood. Meanwhile, the Creta 2024 headlights are separated and positioned to the sides, similar to the new Santa Fe.

The car is equipped with new multi-spoke wheels, up to 18 inches in size. In the lower version, it will use 17-inch wheels.

At the rear, the car’s taillights also have an “L” shape design, horizontally stretching across the rear like the LED position lights. Below is a new silver rear bumper with a more muscular and aggressive design.

Regarding the interior, the cabin of Hyundai Creta 2024 also has significant changes compared to the current version. The most noticeable upgrade is the dual-screen cluster integrating both the instrument panel and the 10.25-inch infotainment screen. In addition, the car also has a small screen near the armrest to adjust the air conditioning and vehicle settings. The steering wheel and gear lever have a new design.

In terms of safety features, the car will have 6 airbags and 19 active safety features with ADAS. These features provide Level 2 autonomous driving for the Korean model. The high-end version will have a 360-degree camera, blind-spot warning system, tire pressure monitoring system, 4-wheel disc brakes, and electronic stability control.

In India, Hyundai Creta 2024 will be powered by 3 engine options. First is the new 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine, shared with the Hyundai Accent. This engine produces a maximum power of 160 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The second is the naturally aspirated 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine with a maximum power of 115 horsepower.

Finally, there is a diesel engine with the same cylinder capacity and maximum power as the petrol engine mentioned above. These two engines will be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 6-speed automatic transmission, or a IVT continuously variable automatic transmission.

The price of Hyundai Creta 2024 in the Indian market has not been disclosed by the company.
