After three years since its initial launch, the Hyundai Bayon compact SUV has undergone a mid-life makeover. The 2024 Hyundai Bayon showcases Hyundai’s latest design language, which includes a dual-layer headlight system. The upper layer features a wide LED daytime running light strip that stretches across the entire front of the vehicle, while the lower layer consists of a larger LED headlight cluster.
In addition, there are subtle updates to the front bumper and grille, along with black plastic trims that give the vehicle’s front a more rugged appearance.
Similar to the front end, the rear end of the Bayon has also received minor enhancements. It now features a new rear bumper integrated with a more modern-looking taillight cluster.
The interior of the Bayon already offers a tech-forward ambiance with its standard 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster in certain markets. However, the 8-inch infotainment screen may seem relatively small unless users opt for the upgrade to the 10.25-inch screen. With the 2024 model, the 10.25-inch infotainment screen becomes a standard feature of the Bayon, and the digital instrument cluster is included in all markets. The navigation system can also be updated through the internet.
Hyundai has not yet revealed the powertrain specifications for the 2024 Bayon. However, it is expected to continue offering two versions of the same turbocharged 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine, delivering maximum power outputs of 98 horsepower and 118 horsepower, while the torque remains unchanged.
The pricing details for the 2024 Hyundai Bayon have not been announced, but the current version of this SUV starts at $27,376 in the UK market.
