An unusual incident occurred recently in India when a Tata Safari Dark Edition car, which had been bought just 10 days ago, encountered a series of problems.

Specifically, while the car was in motion, the speedometer displayed zero. Additionally, the car’s rearview mirror sometimes failed to open automatically, the windows were non-functional, and the left LED headlights and daytime running lights did not turn on.

Even the car’s emergency automatic braking system was damaged. As a result, the car couldn’t detect obstacles in its path and continued to move forward, almost leading to a collision.

Upon discovering these issues, the owner of the Tata Safari SUV promptly took their vehicle to the dealership for an inspection.

In a video recorded at the dealership, the technicians were examining the car’s electrical system when suddenly all of the airbags, including the curtain airbags, deployed.

On December 25th, the SUV owner provided an update stating that the car had been satisfactorily repaired, with only a few remaining issues with the radio and ADAS level 2, which were being addressed by the repair center’s staff.

In the Indian market, the Tata Safari SUV is currently priced between $19,500 and $32,900 (approximately 474.2 – 800.1 million VND).
