The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT) has recently unveiled an image showcasing the distinctive design of the Changan Qiyuan E07.
The Changan Qiyuan E07 is a model based on the Changan Qiyuan CD701 concept, positioned as a fully electric SUV. However, with just a simple press of a button, the E07 can transform into a pickup truck, effortlessly unveiling its cargo bed and seamlessly resembling a cargo vehicle.
The Changan Qiyuan E07 boasts dimensions of 5045 x 1996 x 1640 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 3120 mm.
The Qiyuan E07 exhibits an elegant appearance with its sloping roofline and sturdy roof structure. The vehicle’s exterior bears a striking resemblance to the CD701 concept.
The front of the car catches attention with its enclosed grille, complemented by C-shaped LED headlights. The rear showcases circular-shaped taillights.
Both the front and rear of the vehicle feature digital displays providing essential information such as the car’s name and battery details.
On the interior front, the cabin of the Changan E07 does not incorporate a dashboard screen behind the steering wheel; instead, it utilizes a HUD screen.
The car also boasts a spacious central control screen and an entertainment screen for the foldable rear seats. The steering wheel itself features a new and unique design, deviating from the conventional steering wheel structure.
The Qiyuan E07 will be available in both single-engine and dual-engine versions, equipped with lithium-ion batteries. The single-engine variant boasts a maximum power output of 337 horsepower, reaching a top speed of 201 km/h.
Meanwhile, the dual-engine variant offers a maximum power output of 188 horsepower for the front engine and 252 horsepower for the rear engine, enabling the vehicle to achieve a top speed of up to 210 km/h.
This hybrid pickup SUV is equipped with lidar and cameras, implying that the vehicle may feature advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
