Dang Le Nguyen Vu may be the owner of the largest car collection in Vietnam. His collection includes numerous hypercars worth billions of Vietnamese Dong each. Some of the rarer cars in his collection include the McLaren Senna, Bugatti Veyron, Porsche 918 Spyder, and Ford GT… The estimated value of this car collection is hundreds of billions of Vietnamese Dong.
In addition to his hypercars, the coffee business tycoon also has a passion for vintage cars. Recently, he has acquired several vintage cars to add to his collection.
Porsche 944
The latest addition to Mr. Vu’s car collection is the Porsche 944. A picture posted by a car dealer shows the vintage Porsche on its way to Mr. Vu’s garage. The vehicle has not yet been labeled with his familiar “UN” license plate. This generation of the Porsche 944 was developed in the 1980s and 1990s.

This particular Porsche 944 has a unique appearance with its angular lines and edges. It features “frog-eye” headlights with classic lids. The single-piece 5-spoke wheels resemble a star. Unlike modern Porsches, the engine is located at the front. The rear trunk is spacious with a nearly all-glass lid.
The engine specifications of this Porsche 944 are not yet known. This model used to be sold with 4 engine options: 2.5L, 2.7L, 3.0L, and either a 5-speed manual or a 3-speed automatic transmission.
Toyota Corona
Mr. Vu’s Toyota Corona still retains its 4-digit license plate from the past. This is a 3rd generation Corona, produced in the 1960s and 1970s.

This sedan model is approximately 4 meters long with a wheelbase of 2.45 meters. It has a weight of less than 1 ton. The Corona line offers various body styles such as sedan, coupe, wagon, hatchback, and even pickup. Mr. Vu’s model is a sedan version.
The interior of the Corona looks clean and beautiful with fabric seat covers. Next to the gear lever is Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu’s characteristic coffee cup holder. The car is equipped with a manual transmission.
Toyota Corolla
Mr. Vu’s 5th generation Toyota Corolla stands out in his vintage car collection with its blue color. What’s even more special is that the car is a 3-door hatchback (including the trunk). Normally, old Corollas in Vietnam are sedans with 4 doors.

Mr. Vu’s Corolla is a customized version. The rectangular headlights have been replaced with classic dual round headlights. The wheels have also been modified with 5-spoke rims.
The interior of the car is no longer in its original state. The steering wheel is a 3-spoke RASTP racing style. The entertainment system has been upgraded with a screen. There is the familiar coffee cup holder next to the handbrake. This is still a manual transmission car.
Toyota Celica
After the 2000 Celica, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu added an older Celica to his car collection. This is the first generation of Toyota’s sports car line, developed in the 1970s.

This is also a customized car with more aggressive wheels than the original version. The rear trunk is adorned with an additional spoiler to increase its sportiness. Its design resembles American muscle cars and is different from the flamboyance of later generations.
Inside, the seats have been reupholstered in leather. Near the gear lever and handbrake is Mr. Vu’s coffee cup holder.
This generation of Celica had engine options of 1.4L, 1.6L, 1.9L, 2.0L, and 2.2L. Mr. Vu’s car is equipped with a manual transmission. This model also had automatic transmission options.
Nissan Datsun 280ZX
Mr. Vu’s super rare sports car from Nissan is the Datsun 280ZX, which can be considered the “predecessor” of today’s 350Z and 370Z. This generation was produced in the 1970s and 1980s.

The 280ZX is quite large compared to the aforementioned vintage cars, with a length of about 4.6 meters. The design of the Datsun 280ZX is sports-oriented with a long front end. The circular headlights are set deep into the lamp housing. The side mirrors are mounted at the front of the car instead of on the A-pillar or door. The front face of the car has been modified with a honeycomb-style grille.
As a sports car, the 280ZX is equipped with an I6 engine. It offers options of a 4-speed manual, 5-speed manual, or 3-speed automatic transmission.
