He plans to drive from Ho Chi Minh City to 16 different countries with various terrains, including plains, mountains, and deserts. The final destination of his journey will be Stuttgart, Germany, where Porsche has its headquarters. This journey is a tribute to the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911 sports car. Cuong will be bringing 2 Porsche cars on this journey, with the highlight being the Porsche 911 Sport Classic.
Last year, Cuong shared his plan to drive the limited-edition Porsche 911 Sport Classic and reach a goal of 100,000 km. If he completes the journey from Saigon to Europe, he will have covered nearly 50,000 km.
Aside from the Porsche 911 Sport Classic 2023, Cuong also owns a stunning convertible supercar, the Ferrari SF90 Spider. In addition to these cars, he has other models like the Bentley Continental GT V8 70th Anniversary Edition, the new Range Rover, and the 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S450 in his garage.
Cuong’s Porsche 911 Sport Classic 2023 is a special edition numbered 1.202/1.250. It features the number 82 painted on both sides of the car, enclosed in a white circle, which is a unique and interesting detail. The number 82 represents the birthdate of Cuong’s husband, Dam Thu Trang – February 12, 1982. The starting price for the Porsche 911 Sport Classic 2023 in Vietnam is VND 19.22 billion.
The limited-edition Porsche 911 Sport Classic that Cuong plans to take on his trip from Saigon to Europe this year is equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder engine. It produces a maximum power of 542 horsepower and a maximum torque of 600 Nm. With a 7-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, the Porsche 911 Sport Classic can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h.
