The Car Awards 2023, now in its third edition, is a program organized by VnExpress to recognize and honor outstanding products in the automotive industry. For this year’s “Car of the Year” voting program, there are three award categories, and the following models have been nominated:

Car of the Year by segment:

– B-Segment Low Sedan: Honda City

– B-Segment Crossover: VinFast VF 6

– C-Segment Crossover: Honda CR-V

– D-Segment SUV/Crossover: Kia Sorento

– Small Luxury SUV: Mercedes GLC

– Midsize Luxury SUV: Porsche Cayenne

The “New Star” category, which is not scored, is handpicked by the Organizing Committee to recognize new models that have garnered significant attention from users and the automotive community. The winner of this award is the VinFast VF 5.

The coveted title of “Car of the Year 2023” is the ultimate prize of the Car Awards 2023. It is awarded by the judging panel based on criteria such as exceptional performance within the segment, trend updates, and accessibility to customers. The Honda CR-V emerged as the winner of the Car of the Year 2023. The VinFast VF6 secured the second position, followed by the Mercedes GLC in third place.
