Honda Vietnam unveils updated edition of Rebel 500: Powerful bike starting at VND 181.3 million

Rebel 500 was first launched in 2018, offering an exciting and optimized choice for cruiser enthusiasts in the mid-range large displacement motorcycle segment. Over the past 5 years, the Rebel 500 has become the ideal companion for male riders seeking a modern, masculine style, combining minimalism, elegance, and the dynamic, sleek nature of the 21st century. In the 2024 version, the Rebel 500 receives a refreshing update with a collection of bold and powerful yet elegant colors.

New colors highlight a bold and powerful image

The Rebel 500’s design embodies simplicity and boldness, showcasing a timeless classic beauty with contemporary accents, setting it apart from other models in its segment.

Rebel 500 2024 now comes in three primary colors: new Black, new Silver, and Matte Black, which are carried over from the 2023 version, allowing riders to take pride and express their individual style on their adventures. The new Blue replaces the Red color from the 2023 version, appealing to those who appreciate strong and mysterious beauty. With the new Silver version, Silver replaces the Gray color from the previous version, giving the bike a youthful, sporty, yet classy look.

The Rebel 500 attracts fans with its simplicity, compactness, and versatility. It features a high fuel tank and handlebars with a classic touch. The frame’s tube structure, low center of gravity, and gradually tapered shape towards the rear help riders maintain an upright posture, comfortably stretching their legs on long journeys. Perfect engine and amenities for confident speed control and conquering any challenge

The Rebel 500 is equipped with a parallel twin DOHC 471cc engine with 8 valves and liquid cooling. This engine delivers a maximum power of 33.5 kW at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 43.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

The improved PGM-FI fuel injection system ensures higher torque at lower rpm, resulting in smooth operation and stable acceleration. The engine is equipped with a two-way slipper clutch system, providing smoother gear shifting. The front and rear wheels are equipped with single disc brakes, with ABS brakes to prevent wheel lock when braking sharply on slippery surfaces.

This 500cc cruiser features inverted front fork springs with 41mm tubes and dual spring struts in the rear wheel. The lightweight aluminum alloy rims, paired with the 11.2-liter fuel tank, add convenience for riders.

The minimalist round dashboard, compact size, negative LCD screen with gear display function, front lighting, turn signal lights, and rear lights still maintain the LED design from the previous generation.
