Hyundai Creta, the popular compact SUV model in the Indian market, is set to receive an upgraded version on January 16, 2024. The new model comes with a range of notable improvements, and the first batch of Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024 has already been delivered to dealers, giving car enthusiasts a sneak peek of what’s to come.
Following Hyundai’s global design language “Sensuous Sportiness,” the new Hyundai Creta Facelift boasts a more daring and attention-grabbing style. Its powerful and modern exterior design, coupled with practical and premium interior features, caters to the needs of a wide range of customers, especially the younger generation.
For this upgrade, the 2024 Hyundai Creta adopts the brand’s fresh design language, similar to the new Santa Fe and Exter. The car features an enhanced lighting system with an H-shaped graphic, square-shaped headlights, and a lengthy LED taillight cluster – a design style commonly seen on other Hyundai and Kia models, including the Venue facelift, Verna, Sonet, and Seltos facelift.
Notable upgrades include redesigned alloy wheels with attractive two-tone colors. The step board has been widened to provide easier access for passengers, particularly the elderly and children. The front of the vehicle has also undergone significant updates with new LED headlights, a parameter grille design, redesigned front and rear bumpers, as well as a redesigned rear trunk.
The interior of the new Hyundai Creta adds a touch of futurism and a cockpit-like feel. It features a seamlessly integrated infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster that provides various informational displays. Hyundai claims that the upgraded Creta offers unparalleled spaciousness, comfort, and convenience for its users.
Under the hood, the Creta Facelift offers three engine options: the 1.5L Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol, 1.5L MPi Petrol, and 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel. It is available with four transmission options, including a 6-speed manual, IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), and 6-speed automatic. The new Hyundai Creta has been fine-tuned to deliver a more exhilarating driving experience.
Safety is a standout feature of the Creta. Hyundai promises to provide 36 standard safety features in the new Creta, including ABS, EBD, BA, six airbags, four-wheel disc brakes, ESC, and many more.
A new addition to the Creta facelift is the ADAS system, named Hyundai SmartSense. This driver-assistance technology offers 19 features, which is two more than the current ADAS system equipped in the Seltos facelift by Kia.
The new Hyundai Creta will be available in seven variants with six single-tone color options and one dual-tone color option.
