Lamborghini Urus Performanceante: Over 650 HP for Police Vehicle

Dubai has long been renowned as a supercar haven worldwide. However, it’s not just the residents who have a penchant for supercars; even the Dubai police force is fond of them. Recently, the Dubai Police Department added a Lamborghini Urus Performanceante to their fleet for patrols at well-known tourist locations.

This super SUV was handed over to the Dubai Police Department at the Dubai Airshow held last year and was deployed “after a period of preparation and modifications… to meet the job requirements of the police force.” Externally, the car features a two-tone green and white paint scheme, along with the police logo, sirens, and emergency lights.

Lamborghini has not revealed interior pictures, but they mentioned that this special Urus is equipped with a dedicated information display and a gun box. The cargo compartment also contains a wardrobe for “storing service equipment and a defibrillator for providing first aid.”

The Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, Major General Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani, stated, “The Urus Performanceante will assist the Dubai Police in better serving the people, maintaining social safety and security, as well as providing services at renowned tourist spots.”

The Director of Lamborghini Middle East and Africa, Paolo Sartori, commented that the company is “pleased” to continue its collaboration with the Dubai Police after delivering the standard Urus in 2022. He mentioned that “this new Urus Performanceante… will be employed for various public tasks and, most importantly, will help enhance the city’s security and safety. This initiative further showcases our longstanding presence in the UAE.”

The Lamborghini Urus Performanceante is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing a maximum power of 657 horsepower and a peak torque of 850Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 306 km/h.
