Not long ago, the Italian police force received a Lamborghini Urus Performante for their emergency organ transport missions. This vehicle made headlines as it was the first security force in the world to use this super SUV model, in addition to their already impressive fleet of expensive supercars.
Inspired by Italy, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has recently added a high-performance version of the Lamborghini Urus to their already extensive collection of police cars, worth millions of dollars.
Unlike its Italian counterpart, the Dubai police use their super SUV primarily for patrol duties, ensuring public safety and conducting emergency search and rescue operations. However, the main purpose of this Urus Performante is to showcase luxury and attract tourists.
Dubai has a longstanding tradition of equipping their police force with a fleet of supercars and million-dollar hypercars. Some notable models include the Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF, Bugatti Veyron 16.4, McLaren MP4-12C, Mercedes SLS AMG, Lykan Hypersport, Audi R8, Porsche 918 Spyder, and many more.
Reports suggest that the Lamborghini Urus Performante is just one of the many expensive vehicles in the Dubai police’s fleet. They also own new models such as the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300, Lexus RC F, BMW i3, and even a pre-ordered Tesla Cybertruck.
The Dubai police’s high-performance “super bull” sports a combination of white and green colors, commonly used on their patrol vehicles. Unlike other supercars, the emergency lights are placed inside the cabin. Additionally, the car features carbon fiber details, such as the front air splitter, side panels, rear diffuser, and spoiler.
Although the interior images have not been released, Lamborghini has confirmed that this Urus is equipped with a steel gun box. The dashboard features a mobile display showing the commander’s information. Moreover, there’s a luggage compartment with a heart defibrillator and an emergency rescue equipment storage cabinet.
The heart of the Lamborghini Urus Performante is a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine, producing a maximum power of 657 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. It boasts an AWD drivetrain and an 8-speed automatic transmission, enabling the super SUV to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 306 km/h.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante is currently available for sale in Vietnam.
Currently, the Lamborghini Urus Performante is officially distributed in Vietnam, with prices starting from 16.5 billion VND. Four units have been imported into the country, with three of them already sold to private owners. The remaining black unit is currently for sale at a Lamborghini dealership in Ho Chi Minh City.
