Recently, LG Display – the screen development branch of LG has announced that it will debut a new generation of car screens at the CES 2024 Consumer Electronics Show.

Currently, LG Display has not revealed much information about the new screen. The company only stated that it will be an OLED screen with many features and extremely flexible. Users can easily fold, slide, stretch, or hide it when not in use.

In the near future, LG Display will introduce a large screen that extends over the dashboard, along with a low-set control screen and another screen on the rear armrest.

This new screen will be larger in size, with extremely high resolution. However, the price will be adjusted to be more accessible.

According to the illustrated image, the screen for the rear passengers will be ceiling-mounted. When not in use, users can roll it up.

At the CES Consumer Electronics Show, LG Display also introduced a safety system on the front screen. Specifically, this system allows passengers sitting next to the driver to watch movies or entertainment on the main center screen. However, the driver cannot see it. This helps to minimize driver distraction while driving.
